Wymagania: Prerequisites (No Exceptions):
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience working in a software development environment.
  • MUST already be based in Poland, preferably close to ŁódŸ.
  • Excellent communication skills. We are not looking for a developer. We are looking for a R & D team manager.
  • Strong preference for prior experience in a similar capacity working for a international software company or consulting firm in the R & D team.
  • Prior team management experience. This a must have.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical discipline from a reputable university.
Obowiązki: Job Description: Responsible for the overall operation of the ŁódŸ office in assigned R & D tasks. This is a new headcount and not a replacement. The ideal candidate would have worked in product development or R & D. You will be familiar with the Product Development Process and be comfortable managing a team of developers coding in Java, C and C++ on several platforms. They will be using Unified Modelling Language (UML) tools to aid them in their development process. We are looking for a person with excellent Project Management skills and even better communication and management skills to manage the R & D software development team. The candidate will manage a group of about 6-12 people in the Polish R & D department that are to meet deadlines in terms of releases and updates. The candidate will be responsible for all engineering end-to-end deliverables from requirement gathering, planning, execution and delivery of the products. He will work with the R & D Director in the Netherlands to formulate and prioritize features for product releases.
