Your profile
- MS. Civil engineering, preferably specialised in permanent way constructions,
- Preferably with experience but starters are also welcome to apply,
- Knowledge of permanent way constructions,
- Knowledge of relevant engineering software,
- Good English communication skills – written & spoken.

- Our client, the leading Railway engineering and consultancy company is currently looking for several Railway engineers, both starting and experienced, who specialised in permanent railway constructions. With over 9000 trains per day the Dutch railway network is the busiest in the world and the number is still growing at a rate of 5-10% p/y. The government is investing billions in modernizing and expanding the current network and there is plenty of work for the coming years. The position As a railway specialist you will be responsible for the design and calculations for permanent way constructions. You will be working in a multi disciplinary team with the latest techniques to analyze the wear of the track, the interaction between track bodies and permanent way constructions and develop engineering solutions to upgrade and expand the network.
