Wymagania:
  • You completed a university education in mechanical engineering with a specialisation in gas turbine airfoil design
  • Required experience: 5 or more years in gas turbine airfoil aero-thermal and structural parts design, including demonstrated experience with design tools like ANSYS and solid modelling
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 practices
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills are required
  • You gained experience in project based working and you are moreover able to lead a team of specialists involved in the realisation of projects
  • You have a thorough verbal and written command of the English language. Command of the German and French language is considered a preference
  • You can properly function independently as well as within a team. You are strongly result-aimed and creative with a pragmatic attitude.
Obowiązki:
  • Engineer will be responsible for technical leadership performing design and analysis of gas turbine hot section airfoils (blades and vanes).
  • Candidate will participate in all phases of airfoil design, conceptual through detail, with the goal of exceeding customer requirements such as: cost, performance and manufacturability.
  • Responsibilities of the Technical Leader will also include involvement with the airfoil manufacturing process at dedicated suppliers and interfaces with drafting, manufacturing and sourcing.
  • You supervise small as well as large projects from the concept, the execution, up to a successful delivery. Coordinate cooperation with external design specialists, including the Ansaldo Centres of Excellence and other consultants. It goes without saying that you follow the developments of advanced airfoil designs and initiate projects that could lead to product improvement.
