Job Description Deliver support to the 1st and 2nd line field application engineers.
- Manage application related escalations as the ours headquarters representative. - Gather information about the customer’s production process and analyze problems related to the effective use of ours machines.
- Run performance improvement projects at the customer site in cooperation with the customer.
- Participate in development projects to become expert in one or more topics.
- Deliver input to development projects on customer technology requirements based on experience obtained in the field and while working with the field application engineers.
- Perform roll out of new functionalities and new software releases by giving Knowledge Transfers to field application engineers and perform the beta testing of these products.
- Translate customer’s production process characteristics to improvement specifications and feed technology requirements back to the development organization. Educational Level MSc or PhD degree in Physics, Optics, Electronics, Micro-electronics, chemical engineering or IC manufacturing Experience 1-2 years experience in an IC manufacturing environment, with strong emphases on the lithography processing and application of imaging & overlay solutions in actual production is preferred. Personal Skills Strong technical background and drive towards solutions.

- Independent and proactive attitude.
- Good organizational and leadership skills to coordinate complex projects.
- Adequate English language skills in speech and writing.
- Willingness to travel international up to 30%. Continuous development of your technical expertise and personal skills is essential.

- Sector Information The sector Customer Support is responsible for the delivery, installation and the maintenance of ours systems on customer locations, as well as transferring all relevant knowledge and supporting the customer in the use of these systems in his production process. Customer Support Engineering takes care that effective support of the customer by local personnel is possible by providing knowledge, technical support and occasional engineering work at customer site. The department Applications & and Business Support (ABS) supports the effective use of ours machines in the customer’s production process. Within this department there is an Imaging, Overlay & Focus, and a Productivity/New Business Development group Position in the Organization The engineer reports to a Group Leader within the ABS department Job Mission Deliver technical support and consultancy to local support organizations and customers in order to ensure an optimal application of ours machines in the customer’s IC manufacturing process
