The Mechanical Design Engineer role covers the complete design cycle across a wide range of technologies. Backgrounds of particular interest are those who have designed for medium to high-volume manufacture for the likes of electronics instrumentation, medical electronics products. You will join the R&D Department , involved in product design developing industry leading sensor and communications technology. This includes metal and plastic extrusions designed using both 3D and 2D CAD and electronics component and PCB enclosures packaging. The company use Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD respectively (but are open to persons who may have used similar CAD packages such as the likes of Solidworks, Catia, etc.).
