What we expect from you:

• degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field,
• fresh knowledge of software development technologies - maintaining the ability to code (we start from verifying it!),
• experience of leading software developers using current lightweight (!) tools and following current lightweight (agile, lean) practices,
• good knowledge of any modern development platform (preferably Java/JEE) for building and running web applications,
• experience of managing and training team leaders,
• excellent people and project management skills,
• superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills,
• broad knowledge of several programming languages, open source, and related technologies,
• broad knowledge of software industry and technology,
• experience of practising contemporary software development methodologies: agile, Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.,
• fluent English (international cooperation),
• minimum 8 years (12+ years preferred) of experience in software development with at least several years as a developer and 3+ years in a leader/manager role.

What you will do:

• coordinate multiple simultaneous streams of software development between geographically dispersed teams,
• be a leader who promotes, defines, customizes, and deploys best agile practices and development process improvements,
• maintain hyper-transparent and hyper-visible relationship with our partners from Atlassian through lightweight metrics and continuous project status reporting,
• cooperate with all departments in order to achieve the best possible result - customer success,
• collaborate with Product Management, Design, QA by validating the product roadmap, setting priorities and providing estimates,
• set objectives for people and hold them accountable,
• mentor and grow team leaders.
